Metal expansion Joints

Expansion joints, also called flex joints, movements joints or compensators are assemblies  designed to safely absorb the heat-induced expansion and contraction of various construction materials, to absorb vibration, to hold certain parts together, or to allow movement due to ground settlement or noise. The basic materials are  rubber, metal and polymer (PTFE) materials. They are commonly found between sections of piping systems in various industries.

Metal expansion joints, also called metal bellows, flex joints or compensators are flexible elements (bellows) constructed of relatively thin gauge material (generally stainless steel) designed to absorb the expected mechanical and thermal movements in service.

Sealtec offers a wide range of metal expansion joint in suitable for your application in various materials.
